Chapter 2 - The Scarcity Paradigm
Scarcity is the universal dogma that guides all our undertakings. Even many of our religions teach us about a god of scarcity who favours a particular group of people or authorises one group of people to have power over another. Some religions teach a scarcity god. We must beg for favours from this god, who doles out a little at a time or plenty for one group of people and nothing for another group of people. Some religions tell us that a god’s love operates in a kind of market exchange system. If we do certain things certain ways, god will reward us accordingly.
